1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or ordering from the Lumovex website, you agree to these Terms of Service, regardless of which country you're ordering from. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Products, pricing, and currency
Prices are set in South African Rand (ZAR), our base currency. For your convenience, prices may be displayed in your local currency (e.g. USD, GBP, EUR, AUD) based on an estimated exchange rate — this converted price
is indicative and for browsing purposes. The exact amount charged, and the final currency conversion, is confirmed at checkout by our payment processor before you complete payment. We reserve the right to change prices, product descriptions, or availability at any time without prior notice.
3. Orders and payment
Orders are processed once payment is confirmed via our payment processors (PayFast or PayPal), both of which support international cards. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund in your original payment currency.
4. International shipping, duties, and customs
Orders shipped outside South Africa may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or local taxes charged by your country on arrival — these are separate from our shipping cost and are the customer's responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout. 5. Returns and refunds
Our Returns Policy sets out your rights, including cooling-off rights recognised under South African, EU/UK, and other applicable consumer protection law for distance/online purchases.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Lumovex name, logo, and original text — is owned by Lumovex and may not be copied or reused without permission. Product images and descriptions sourced from suppliers remain their respective owners' property.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumovex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or its products, beyond the value of the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country that
cannot lawfully be excluded (including the South African Consumer Protection Act, EU/UK consumer rights law, or equivalent US state law).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under the law of your own country of residence, which continue to apply where local law requires it.
